I'm sorry to have to post this here. Buddha died. It was obviously unexpected, but it was also unpreventable and hopefully relatively quick. Many of you knew Buddha and what a great dog he was and I know he will be missed by many. He welcomed me home with a wagging tail for 9 years, ate anything possibly edible that was within site, and was truly one of the strangest, sweetest, goofiest dogs I have ever met. I love him more than I could have ever thought possible.

Megan/Matt: This is so sad. You have lost a dear friend. Buddha was the luckiest of dogs in being yours -- every time I saw him, he seemed to be smiling at his good fortune. I hope you can find comfort in the great life he enjoyed with you. Susan Barton
ReplyDeleteBuddha was a goofy dog and he could not have fit in better with anyone than my goofy daughter. As I recall, her dad and I told her getting a dog when she did was probably not a good idea, but she got Buddha anyway and made us gladly eat our words. I knew she was safer and happier with Buddha in her life, and he made us all laugh and smile and we loved him.
ReplyDeleteJennifer had showed me a sign once that she thought described her dog. I want to share it as I think it sounds like Buddha also.

It is so hard to lose your pet but we would have missed out on so much if we had not had them in our lives. They steal your heart! Cheryl Hawkinson
I know I am a little slow on finding this out. I am so sad to hear that Buddha is gone. =( Keeping you and Buddha in my thoughts.
